Everthing is special in this special time of year
the children can't wait 'till the day it's finally here

It's the color of silver and gold, and so much more
and the whole world looks and smells just like a candy store

Christmas is coming, and the children are all aglow
everyone dressed in their best under the mistletow

What a night, we can't sleep, just waiting for the dawn
children looking for sleigh tracks on the lawn

What a time of merriment and mirth
to celebrate the events of the virgin birth

Doesn't matter if there's a lot of presents under the Christmas tree
just as long as my family and friends are here with me

and it's our wish on Christmas night
the whole world will feel the Christmas light
